This was an emotional read for me And I don’t think I can uite capture what the book is because that would depend on each reader but I will try anyways There are a collection of stories about people who have lost their loved ones and there journey of grief with Dr Cacciatore While you can find ways to helplivework with your grief you may not learn that from each chapter but for those chapters that are difficult to empathize with you can at least sympathize with them and gain further perspective on a difficult and too often ignored topic Many chapters did offer me something whether it was ways to remember self care expressing my thoughts and feelings openly and performing kind acts for those around me The chapters are short easy to read and Dr Cacciatore felt very personal with her own stories and those she shared This would be a great book for anyone who is bereaved and good for anyone who may want to learn how to talktreat others who are grieving
