Am I tripping I was gifted two books on Edmund Kemper the other day and upon finally having time to read them today I realize that one was entitled Edmund Kemper The True Story of The Co ed Killer from the series True Crime by Evil Killers and now this one has not only an almost identical title but is from the series Real Crime by Real Killers LMAONot only is this book as informative as you could expect from an 84 page long pamphlet but it reads just like Jack Rosewood's abomination mentioned above Wait Am I being pranked Is this the same author that published the same book under two titles with minor alterations I'm honestly not so sure any If it's not the case it's incredibly sad that there's than one unualified writer that chose someone as complex frightening yet fascinating as Kemper to portray As I have said in my review of Rosewood's book Save your money Watch the interviews of the serial killer in uestion and immerse yourself in the groups and forums discussing him and you will be better off for it This book has nothing of value to offer in terms of psychological depth insight theories new revelations or whatever else one could hope for in a True Crime book If you absolutely must read Margaret Cheney's book Why The Serial Killer In America It had me facepalm freuently and her interpretations and parts of her research are than uestionable but at least she gets the timeline and order of events mostly right
